Wellness Culture
Empowering Our Staff Everyday
It’s part of our mission statement to create a wellness culture within the organization, a work environment where people are can do what they do best and be supported. You need to be mindful - it doesn’t happen by accident where people are engaged and really enjoy their work.

Our Wellness Culture Leads to Success
Organizational cultures evolve over time, and the Mental Health Center of Denver’s culture is no exception. Today, we take much pride in our unique Wellness Culture which stems from an alignment of our mission and values with our employees.
Our mission is at the heart of what we do. We hire employees who are passionate about our mission and have fun in the process of delivering our products and services. Our values - hope, compassion, integrity, diversity, respect, innovation, collaboration and flexibility - further define our culture and give us a platform from which to approach our day-to-day operations.
We believe everyone wants to be great and focus on the strengths of not only our employees, but also our consumers and community partners. This strengths-based focus helps us to intentionally bring out the best in ourselves and others.
Our leadership team and managers devote much energy to engaging employees and creating an environment which enables employees to do what they do best every day. We also take the time to support and encourage each other as well as celebrate our accomplishments.
Our Wellness Culture encompasses physical health and sustainability as well. All of our campuses are smoke-free, and we encourage our employees and consumers to be active and make healthy choices. Our Together Green initiatives promote environmental responsibility and efficiencies which are widely embraced by all who work at and visit our facilities.
At the Mental Health Center of Denver, we believe anything is possible!
