About Reaching Recovery

System change based on recovery principles is a high priority for mental health systems, especially at the level of local service delivery. Mental Health Center of Denver's Reaching Recovery is partnering with other community mental health centers moving toward a recovery focus. We provide centers recovery outcome instruments and consultation.

Join us in better understanding mental health recovery. We are hosting webinars with community mental health centers. Through the webinar we learn more about you and walk you through our recovery support services and outcomes. To begin, simply email us. 

Our partners receive:

  • Four mental health recovery instruments
  • Consultation on instrument implementation and the use of the data
  • Specific workshops on building a recovery system of services and 
  • Membership to a national learning collaborative of other mental health centers focused on recovery best practices.

Our Partners

Gateway Healthcare Inc.

Since 2010, Gateway Healthcare has partnered with Reaching Recovery to strengthen their recovery focus. They are measuring individual’s level of service need using the Recovery Needs Level instrument. Gateway Healthcare is a non-profit behavioral health care organization that provides a wide array of services to adults, children and families in Rhode Island. 

Mental Health Partners

Mental Health Partners was the first organization to partner with Reaching Recovery in 2008. Since then, have they implemented the Recovery Marker Inventory and the Consumer Recovery Measure instruments into their daily staff practice. Mental Health Partners provides comprehensive psychiatric services to residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties in Colorado.  Their programs are based on the fact that recovery from mental illness happens. 

Jefferson Center for Mental Health

Jefferson Center for Mental Health has implemented the Recovery Marker Inventory and the Consumer Recovery Measure into their Supported Employment program.  Over the last ten years, Jefferson Center, The Mental Health Center of Denver, and Mental Health Partners have collaborated on multiple recovery focused projects. The Jefferson Center for Mental Health is a community mental health center serving Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin counties in Colorado. Their mission is to promote mental health and provide quality mental health services for persons with emotional problems and/or serious mental illness.

Centerstone

In 2012, Centerstone joined the Reaching Recovery learning collaborative and began collecting recovery data. Centerstone is the nation’s largest not-for-profit provider of community-based behavioral healthcare, offering a full range of mental health services, substance abuse treatment and educational services in Indiana and Tennessee. 

Stairways Behavioral Health

Reaching Recovery was pleased to have Stairways join the collaborative in 2012. They are implementing the Recovery Marker Inventory and the Consumer Recovery Measure throughout their adult recovery services. Stairways Behavioral Health assists persons with mental health care needs at any stage of life in their recovery by providing comprehensive rehabilitation, treatment and supports essential for living, working, learning and participating fully in the community in the Erie Pennsylvania area. 

So Others Might Eat

SOME (So Others Might Eat) joined the Reaching Recovery collaborative in 2010 to explore recovery driven outcomes.  SOME is an interfaith, community-based organization in Washington DC. They exist to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital.  Each day, SOME is restoring hope and dignity one person at a time.  

Linn County Mental Health

Linn County Mental Health provides a full range of evaluation and treatment to county residents of all ages in Linn County Oregon.   Linn County has joined Reaching Recovery to drive and support their recovery focus by implementing all four of the Recovery Outcome Tools.
