Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is FDA approved for patients with major depression and has shown promise in other areas such as bipolar depression, anxiety post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), postpartum depression as well as depression associated with Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and other neurological conditions.
