Wellshire Behavioral Services

How We Can Help

Wellshire Behavioral Services helps people who are experiencing emotional distress to restore balance, focus, and control to their lives. Depression, anxiety, and other emotional problems have a tremendous impact on a person’s ability to manage personal and professional relationships and to focus on and achieve goals.

Wellshire Behavioral Services is a private clinic where you can see the clinician of your choice.

Recovery at Wellshire Behavioral Services begins with an evaluation from one of our diagnosticians who works with each patient to identify core issues and concerns. Upon reaching a diagnosis, our team of psychiatrists’ works with the patient to develop a treatment plan that best prepares him or her for success in recovery. Treatment plans are different for each patient and can include talk therapy, medication management, or a combination of the two. As treatment progresses, patients regain focus, reconnect relationships, and reclaim a sense of control in their lives.

Making the Community Better

Proceeds from every visit to Wellshire Behavioral Services go towards helping treat Denver’s seriously and persistently mentally ill population. The Mental Health Center of Denver uses funds from Wellshire Behavioral Services to take one homeless person with mental illness off the street every day. By simply receiving care at Wellshire, you contribute to making Denver a healthier place to live.

Hope Chest

"I just got home from therapy (at Wellshire Behavioral Services) and I wanted to let you know how much of a difference I have noticed in that aspect of my life. I don’t feel so mentally exhausted or stressed/distracted, allowing me to have more control over my emotions. A new door has been opened for me (so to speak) to start focusing on myself more frequently and my healing. I don’t worry so much about other externalities anymore. By being able to focus on “me” I have also noticed that I am able to articulate and identify my thoughts/feelings a lot better, and this is extremely helpful. It is like my whole mind is a lot clearer, like a haze has been lifted. It’s just such an improvement in overall life.”

"I left you today with a bit of hope. The thought of getting some sleep is comforting. I did a yoga class and got a massage…and you are a big part of why I could do that today. Anyway, the point of this email is to tell you this: Of all the people involved in this, my lawyers CFI, therapist…. YOU are the only person who has ever told me, “You’re doing a good job,” and for that, I THANK YOU. A little encouragement goes a long way--farther than any drugs."
