Brandon Ward, PsyD, received both his Master's and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. He has been working at the Center for Integrated Psychological Services (CIPS) program with the Mental Health Center of Denver since September 2010, before which he completed a one-year pre-doctoral internship at the organization's Clermont Wellness Center. He specializes in work with anxiety disorders and anxiety related to medical conditions.

Dr. Kimberly Pfaff completed her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She has been working for The Center for Integrated Psychological Services since September 2009. Dr. Pfaff is the psychological assessment coordinator for the clinic, as well as a behavioral medicine clinician. She specializes in psychological assessments, as well as treating anxiety and depressive disorders as they relate to medical conditions.

Dr. Middel completed both her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Denver Counseling Psychology program. Dr. Middel has been the Director of The Center for Integrated Psychological Services since 2009. Dr. Middel has practiced Behavioral Medicine for twenty years. Prior to coming to The Mental Health Center of Denver, Dr. Middel provided psychological services and consultation on the medical units at The Denver Children’s Hospital and at The University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Middel’s areas of professional focus are: management of the psychological issues related to having an acute or chronic medical condition, pain management, mindfulness psychology and clinical hypnosis.

Dr. Shannon OʼConnor completed her Masterʼs and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Rochester. She has been working at The Center for Integrated Psychological Services since September 2012. Dr. OʼConnor is a Behavioral Medicine/Health psychologist specializing in anxiety and depression related to medical conditions.
