Consumer & Family Advocacy
The Consumers and Family Advocacy Network provides culturally competent advocacy trainings to deaf and hard of hearing individuals and families, and supports the community in the following ways:
- Personal and community advocacy
- Mental health/substance abuse issues advocacy
- Advocacy related to cultural and linguistic awareness
The Colorado Daylight Partnership supports the advocates as they develop a network of support among each other and identify some broader community education strategies.
Colorado Daylight Partnership works to advance access at the state level, with mental health agencies and within the deaf and hard of hearing community.
