Meet the Team
Dr. Wes Williams is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the Mental Health Center of Denver. Dr. Williams oversees MHCD’s information systems, including program evaluation, data sciences, business intelligence, application development, network operations, and help desk. His clinical background and technical expertise help him provide innovative solutions to the challenges of building systems that meet the needs of consumers, clinicians, payers, and regulators alike. His team delivers value to the organization by leveraging technology to improve business processes and access to information for informed decision making.
Shawna brings leadership and organizational skills to Reaching Recovery. Her passion for non-profit management enables her to coordinate consultation and trainings with partnering community mental health centers. In addition to Reaching Recovery, she has coordinated the national Mental Health Treatment Study for the Mental Health Center of Denver and assisted on the national Recovery After an Initial Schizophrenia Episode study.
Kate provides consultation services for the Mental Health Center of Denver. She is a statistician/research methodologist focusing on improving research methods and applied analyses in the health care industry. Her areas of specialty include qualitative and qualitative designs, specifically: Survey development and psychometric validation, latent modeling techniques, health care process monitoring, grounded theory, and multivariate statistical investigations.
For over twenty years, Griff has been part of the Mental Health Center of Denver’s transformation to a recovery focus. He has served as Program Manager for the largest Supported Employment program in Colorado and now enjoys providing consultations to other centers around the nation. Griff brings great insight to Reaching Recovery from his past clinical and managerial work as well as from his personal journey of mental health recovery.
CJ specializes in recovery metrics and outcomes, behavioral models, and quality control for mental health service processes. As manager of the Data Sciences team, he provides his expertise in data analysis and dissemination to promote the needs for the Mental Health Center of Denver and its partnering agencies. CJ has over 12 years in behavioral science research and analytics experience, along with nearly 15 years experience with non-profit health services agencies.
Cathie McLean, MA, LPC, CACIII
Director of Quality Improvement and Assurance
Cathie values thoughtful ways of employing Peer Review and Utilization Management processes that promote growth and learning opportunities for staff, management, and the organization at large. With experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor, she understands the significance of creative solutions that avoid “busy work”, and thrives on collaboratively implementing creative solutions that engage staff in a meaningful way, are congruent with the organization’s wellness culture, and support informed practice management.
Brandon oversees implementation, maintenance, integration, and custom development related to the organization's enterprise software products. This includes managing a team of developers, consulting and business analytics related to clinical and administrative workflows, and maintaining a system for effective quality assurance.
