Our Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services team provides specialized outpatient mental healthcare for deaf and hard of hearing children, families and adults in the Denver area.
Cultural traditions and beliefs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities are integrated into the program, and our counseling staff is fully fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and Signed English.

El Centro de las Familias is a multi-cultural clinic providing Spanish-language & bilingual outpatient mental health care to Denver’s Latino/Hispanic community.
We provide case management services on a referral basis as an additional level of support for children and their families currently receiving clinical services from Mental Health Center of Denver programs.
- Case management provides:
- Ongoing individualized needs assessment
- Coordination of care
- Referral/linkage to community resources
- Monitoring of care plan implementation
Case management also provides community support interventions to promote symptom stability, improve coping skills, increase socialization, and enhance successful functioning. Services are available in English and Spanish.
Right Start is a mental health program for pregnant women and families with children ages birth to 5 years. We provide help when there are concerns about a child’s emotions, behavior or development, or when parenting becomes difficult.

We help children and their families bridge the gap in meeting their basic needs while working towards self-empowerment and healthy life choices.

The Child & Family Hospital Liaison coordinates care between the Mental Health Center of Denver and local hospitals to ensure a smooth transition.
We believe mental and physical health go hand-in-hand, we cooperate with clinics across Denver to assist pediatricians in assessing possible mental health issues.
In-Home Therapy Program
Our In-Home Therapy Program serves children with serious emotional disturbances or serious disruptive and/or delinquent behavior who are at risk for out-of-home placement, juvenile detention, or hospitalization.
- Individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and group interventions
- Parenting skills training
- Crisis management support
- Intensive case management, care coordination and access to outpatient medication management.
