Over the past several weeks, we at the Mental Health Center of Denver have seen increased levels of stress, anxiety, and isolation, not only among the people we serve but in the larger community as well. That’s why we have worked hard to increase access to care for everyone who needs it through the use of telehealth services, like video calling. While we have made great progress in expanding services through technology, many people still do not have access to the type of smart devices that can best support telehealth interaction. We are committed to making sure everyone can access the care they need during this challenging time, and we need your help.
You can help us meet this need by donating gently used PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets for the people we serve.
With your support, we can ensure that the people we serve have the technology they need to access care. Here are three ways you can support this effort:
- Make an online gift to our COVID-19 Well-Being Assistance Fund to help make technology available.
- Purchase new technology items from our Amazon Wish List and have them shipped directly to the Mental Health Center of Denver.
- Donate used smart phones and tablets, laptops or PCs with power cords. In combination with our community partner, PCs for People, we are asking you to donate used and unwanted smart devices and computer equipment.
If you or someone in your network have a business or bulk donation of 15+ PCs or laptops, please contact email@example.com and we can help arrange a pickup.
Thank you for your support and the support of partners like PCs for People.
